Ex·ca·va·tion... and the process continues/begins!

Ex·ca·va·tion /ˌɛkskəˈveɪʃən/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[eks-kuh-vey-shuhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1.
a hole or cavity made by excavating.
2.
the act of excavating.
3.
an area in which excavating has been done or is in progress, as an archaeological site.
[Origin: 1605–15; <>excavate, -ion]

So the home improvement processes continue..... We rented this excavator and are digging up the entire (almost) yard then spreading all of the dirt. The idea is to rid the lower area by the house as we are building a retaining wall and having a concrete pad poured and stamped. We spray painted the outline before we started digging, but now that all the dirt is up it seems HUGE... oh well LOL. We're excited and hoping to finish the project by the end of May so that I can begin to work on the landscaping and planting and also to find a decent patio set. Ohhh- how the projects never end. :)
