Big delivery of rock for the foundation of the back patio we're having put in. We went back and forth with the idea of do we build a deck or do we pour a patio, or compromise to have a little of both. We decided to keep the rinky dinky deck that the builder put on (it is really pathetic) and have a large patio poured, stamped and dyed. Of course before we do all that PJ has to put in the retaining wall as our yard slopes towards our house (thank God for good drainage).
Here are some pics from last night as PJ and Makena scooped up the rocks into the back of the truck, then we drove it up into the backyard. We had hoped that the dump truck could have pulled into the back yard since we have drive-thru RV gates on the side... however it wouldn't have worked at the angle so PJ is scooping what was delivered to the driveway.
Makena was a big helper too- check it out. Hoping to post some video clips tonight.
