Well, here we are just days before Christmas! I can't wait to see Makena and PJ open their presents. I can't post what I got them either because PJ reads this - so just like him, you all will have to wait :)
I work a 1/2 day tomorrow- then I'm off until the 3rd of January!! YAYYY-
Lots of news and updates for life in general.
Mostly- I've decided for the first time in 9 years to 'go home' for this deployment. Which means, I'm leaving my job, my wonderful co-workers, all of my friends here, the sun, surf and beautiful weather!!! BUT I am going to have an opportunity to stay with Makena and possibly work part-time to keep from being bored. I'm looking forward to hanging out with her on my own. After last year when he was deployed- I must say I'm quite relieved to be around family for the deployment. I have no idea what lies in store for this next WestPak but we will know far too soon. PJ is deploying in February - just barely a year since he returned. It seems like the time has gone so fast.
We literally JUST finished moving into our new house- but oh well. I'm glad to be around my family and really enjoy some time with Makena, and of course see old friends.
Mid January we will make our trek back 'home', then Makena and I will be coming back to San Diego for the second week in February to see PJ off for his deployment.
So- much going on. I'm also excited to focus on my jewelry some more as well. YAYY!!!
Well- that should be enough for now.
Hope this finds everyone doing great with the hustle and bustle of the holidays. When it comes down to it, let's not forget the 'real reason for the season'... it's 'somebodies' birthday ;)
